<p>We are looking for <strong>"Head – R &amp; D"</strong> for Reputed Client @ Permanent Role.<br><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong><br>• Phd / Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic with 25+ years’ of experience in leading cable industries , specialized in R&amp;D and technical analysis, technical data preparations with strong proven track records. &nbsp;strong innovative and forecasting skills and ability in order to penetrate Asian and MENA region markets and globally which is not limited to.&nbsp;<br><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</strong><br>• Support technology team through different IP services like novelty search, patentability etc.&nbsp;<br>• Identify and review the requirements of new products according to market needs.<br>• Support group R&amp;D team for new products development projects, verification and validation, timely execute with clear strategies.&nbsp;<br>• Provide technical consultancy for R&amp;D activities on LV, MV, HV &amp; EHV cables, Materials technology, Polymer compounds and Fire safety engineering.<br>• Support group technical team for cable design, Quality laboratories, Materials approval and Compounds development, Identify &amp; support the team to reduce product costs through innovation, technology transfer, process quality improvement, supplier quality improvement, etc.,&nbsp;<br>• Lead and motivate group R&amp;D team in a fast paced manufacturing environment.<br>• Support group R&amp;D team for effective implementation and certification of ISO 17025 for the testing and calibration laboratories.<br>• Review and understand international product standard changes and direct the team for effective implementation, expertise in different IP domains especially Patents and Trademark, should be a registered Patent agent in any of the world reputed institution.<br>• Acquire new business deals, oversee research activities and develop knowledge-based products such as for different types of cables such as Solar, Fire Alarm, Submarine, and Renewable Cables for company.&nbsp;<br>• Develop research programs incorporating current developments to improve existing products and study the potential of new products and Interested in research.&nbsp;<br>• Able to analyze and collate information, work as part of a team, manage workload and meet deadlines. With Good organizational skills, Ideal candidate will be station in Hong Kong / Doha.</p>
