Role Summary:
We're hiring an Informatics Specialist to manage and optimize data flow, quality, governance, and reporting within our Azure Synapse Data Lake. This full-time role supports data engineering, business intelligence, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and optimize data pipelines in Azure Synapse.
• Monitor data quality, performance, and system reliability.
• Support reporting and analytics needs using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Implement and enforce data governance and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate data catalogs and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business users.
• Ensure high performance and cost efficiency in Azure Synapse.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Informatics, Data Science, CS, or related; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in data management, Azure Synapse, and governance.
• Strong SQL/Python skills.
• Experience with BI tools and cloud data architecture.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
Preferred:
• Azure certifications.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Data Catalog, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery.
• Experience in advanced analytics or ML environments.
