5+ years of hands‑on experience working with MES and/or SCADA applications Strong practical experience with Ignition (configuration, projects, gateway, troubleshooting) Ignition and Sepasoft implementation/support experience preferred Hands‑on experience configuring and supporting MES modules (Sepasoft is an advantage) Strong Python (Python) scripting skills, including writing and debugging scripts Strong SQL skills, including working with MES schemas, transactions, and audit data Experience working directly within MES/SCADA applications, not just coordinating vendors Understanding of IT‑side ownership of OT systems, including servers, databases, and integrations Experience supporting or validating data ingestion using OPC UA, MQTT, or similar industrial protocols Ability to troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues across IT‑OT environments Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments Familiarity with regulated environments (medical devices, pharma, life sciences) preferred Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
