Senior Financial / Business Analyst Reports To: Director, FP&A Systems & Business Intelligence Location: Remote Role Summary Partner across the business to deliver insights and enable data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strong foundation in finance and accounting combined with advanced analytics, data engineering, and technical skills to bridge business needs and technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Perform financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decisions. Partner with IT on data architecture, integrations, and BI solutions. Develop dashboards and visualizations in BI tools (Power BI/Tableau). Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and automation. Support system implementations and enhancements (ERP, EPM). Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership. Technical Competencies Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, and advanced Excel (including PowerQuery) skills. Alteryx flow design experience Advanced Data visualization development Understanding of data warehouses, ETL processes, and API usage. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data wrangling and automation. Experience in ERP systems like Oracle (EBS/Fusion), SAP Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred. >5 years of experience in financial analysis combined with technical data skills. Strong grasp of GAAP, FP&A processes, and proven ability to partner across the business. Preferred Skills Experience with ERP/EPM systems (Oracle, Adaptive Planning). Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data architecture. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders effectively. Success Metrics Ability to take instruction & then work independently to problem solve, analyze, and delivery useful accurate analyses and insights. Automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. High adoption and utilization of BI dashboards and reporting tools
