Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of IT Operations Management solutions using the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITOM modules such as Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, and CMDB architecture, with a proven ability to architect scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM modules.
• Design solutions to integrate Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration with enterprise systems.
• Architect and maintain the CMDB, ensuring accurate service dependency mapping and data integrity.
• Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop architecture blueprints, and define roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to ITOM developers and admins.
• Integrate ITOM with external monitoring, alerting, and infrastructure tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Splunk, Nagios).
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and compliance with best practices and security policies.
• Conduct architecture reviews, gap analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee MID Server strategy, deployment, and scaling.
Required Skills:
• 9+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years in ServiceNow ITOM architecture.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM Suite:
o Discovery
o Service Mapping
o Event Management
o Orchestration/Automation
o Cloud Management (optional but preferred)
• Proficient in scripting using JavaScript, PowerShell, and/or Python.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB design principles, ITIL processes, and enterprise infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, JDBC, SNMP, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating cloud infrastructure into CMDB.
Preferred Certifications:
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• ITIL v4 Certification
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP – optional but a plus)
